You see, the long run on the training plan for week 10 was 17 miles. I spent yesterday trying to wrap my mind around those 17 miles and, well, I told myself that I would run 15 and be happy with that. Basically, because I bonked on my last long run that was outside! (You can read about it here.) I am happy to report that I did not have a repeat of that outside run from several weeks ago..
I wonder, also, about the operations of the business. If they are paying workers less than $10 a day to make their products, and even if product costs are rising and will continue to rise, wouldn that cancel out in some sort of way? Since they aren paying full wages for any of the workers and are cutting their labor costs immensely, I don see how Nike would necessarily need to increase prices of their merchandise. Sure, they want to make as much money as they did last year, or even more, but I am a bit baffled by the whole situation after reading the case about Nike and talking about it today in class.

I find it difficult to believe people who knew and supposedly loved her would participate in a movie about her done by folks who didn know her. We are exhausted by the continuing misinformation and comments offered by people who did not know her. Please please let her rest.

Man that video is so bizarre. It obvious he had some sort of mental condition because normal people don act or talk in that way. It was really creepy. That, he says, indicates a break along the grain of the wood. Wood doesn’t hold up well to pressure applied perpendicular to the grain. Maple bats tended to have a “slope of grain” issue, where the grain sloped at an angle through the cylinder of the bat and the pressure of hitting a fastball at just the right angle was enough to split the bat in two..
“It replaces manual work. It’s governance, risk medication.” And no one was servicing that area. But, at this time, he had his second kid and his wife decided to quit work. Marty McFly actually dies in Back to the Future II, but Doc Brown travels back in time to save him. The theory here goes that Doc accidentally altered the space time continuum, facilitating an alternate future in which Marty is killed in the tunnel while attempting to steal the sports almanac from Biff. Learning of these fateful consequences, Doc gets there just in time to throw Marty a line to save him from colliding with Biff car.
